Lo.Co Turns Two!

What an amazing feeling to be able to say that I have been a business owner for 2 years with my sisters and really living our mission! ❤️

As I reflect on our second year in business, I feel gratitude to see the growth within our Lo.Co Community and would like to share 3 things that have brought positive change to my life.

First, Lo.Co has truly given me the opportunity to turn my ‘Life On’ and live my motto, to ensure I am present and living my life with intent. This past year I made it a point to make the year about me, for the first time maybe ever. I can proudly say I am physically healthy, simply because I chose change and to put myself first. Not saying that I do not still make time for those who I love most, including my husband and teenage son, but I knew I had to make a change for ME. I now wake-up five days a week at 5am and developed a workout regimen that works for my schedule.  Now if you know me well, you know I have been saying for 15 years that I needed to lose my baby fat, which is now 16 years old. I am proof that making a small window of time for yourself each day can not only change your physical appearance, but also your entire outlook on the future.

Secondly, I was able to make the time to attended two powerful women’s conferences that were inspirational and encouraging towards my personal and entrepreneurial goals. (1) TEDWomen Bold+Brilliant celebrating woman from all over the world and sharing our different perspectives, thought-provoking messages, selfless passions and fearless expertise. (2) RISE where I was reminded of how we are more similar and connected than we think. The lens we view others through sometimes clouds our perspectives, hidden by the color of our skin, our culture, profession, education, religion and even our country of origin. It was wonderful to embrace my authentic self and be able to share it with others and feel strong bonds through their/our storytelling. Overall it really built my confidence and helped reignite my passion for helping and supporting each other. Together we are stronger and capable of achieving our goals.

Lastly, our Lo.Co team worked tirelessly to developed and produce our first two roundtable workshops ‘Life On. Cell Off™ – Are We Too Distracted To Stay Connected?”, that took place with key members of our communities. This has filled our hearts to see, hear and feel the positive response and demand for our message. We are now looking forward to what 2020 has to bring, where we will be introducing more workshops, new ambassador programs, podcasts and other opportunities to connect, be present and share our mission.

Thank you all for continuing to support us and joining our Lo.Co community. Please continue to help us spread the message and join us to take a little time to go Lo.Co™.
